ok here we go, Oklahoma Sooners will end the season with two losses and be out of the hunt. Miami will open the season 3-1 and be in the hunt. The Florida Gators will go undefeated in the weekest SEC conference in the longest time and get to the BCS title game only to loose to the Texas Longhorns and Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide...well...who cares bout them. As for LSU, Mississippi State and all the other pre-season top tens., I got two words for you OVER RATED (ok that's one word, but you catch my drift). Good news for Gator fans tho, Tim Tebow will edge out Colt McCoy for the Heisman trophy and go down in history as the G.O.A.T. greatest

Thinking that all the steroid users of our time will become pioneers in 10 short years

S I'm thinking that all the steroid users of our time will become pioneers in 10 short years. Think about it, all humans want is to live longer, age slower, heel faster, stay looking young ect ect ect. That is exactly what steroids do. So in about 10 years or so, all people will be oon some king of HGH drugs, and all the rude, smug, lying steroid cheaters of todays sports world will no doubt by then be considered pioneers of our time. Personally I believe there should be a * next to each record from the steroid era, but I also believe that means all records from now till the end of time should come with an * next to it. by Marc Serota

Front page New York Times story belongs to RRA Media photographer

The front page photo story in the New York Times today belonged to RRA Media photographer Marc Serota. "The interesting thing about this assignment was not that the trend of new home sales is seeing an incline for the first time in three years. The real story here is that this man and his family got a five bedroom, two story home on the lake for a $260.000.00 dollar steal and at 5%". WOW.... I was in the home and it was a great deal. It made me want to go out and buy a home".

So the NFL is going to give Michael Vick his conditional reinstatement with a four game suspension so he can resume his NFL career. I don't know how to feel about this., the guy did some hideous things to dogs, but I do feel like a year and a half in prison and away from his passion might have taught him a few things. It is not just the lost money but the two season of playing in the "NFL" that has got to really hurt.Missing that and now getting another chance....hmmmm that is allot to be a good boy for. City of Miami end of the Orange Bowl era and begin the Miami Marlins MLB in Miami era

It was a 100 degree plus kinda day and the Marlins were late and completely un-organized, but it certainly was history in the making. To see the end of the famed Miami Dolphin great games with Morrall- Greise and Marino, Super Bowl, University of Miami, National Championships, NFL Playoff games, an Undefeated Season in 1972. To now seeing the beginning of the Miami MLB era with the converted Florida Marlins to the Miami Marlins. 

It was just strange to see so much hype when I had attended the opening of Joe Robbie Stadium a.k.a. Pro Player Stadium, Dolphin Stadium and Landshark Stadium about 15 years ago and there was NO HYPE. So maybe this is a good omen., I meen about 2,000 fans (more than any home game) triple digit temps and allot of VIP'S....hmmmm History in the making.  For photos:  www.rra-media.com

Rock al Parque 15th Anniversary festival in Colombia 300,000 attendance

Rock al Parque 15th Anniversary festival in Bogota, Colombia's central park were the three day total was over 300,000 in attendance. I watched in amazement as over 150,000 stood in front of the main stage and then 75,000 from stage two and still there were another 40,000 on stage three. All this was for 4 days of peacefull Rock music.

Greetings from the RAW S&E photo shoot for Reebok with Kim Kardashian at the Paris Hilton 'My BFF2" house in Beverly Hills. Me and J. will be shooting Kim and the rest of the Kardashian girls at this awesome location later today for Reebok sneaks. The shoes have springs in the souls so they tighten the girls bums and calves while they freakin walk. We have to show Kim's butt as best we can so she will be on top of me on a piece of plexi glass. Tough job today and believe it or not....it is my 8th wedding anniversary today (I luv ya hunny, but it's my job) I'll let you know how that works out for me. stay tuned for the hot shots!!!!! on

This was by far one of the best expeditions of our lives. Pepper our guide and host askpepper@pepperscottage.com was the most professional and knowlegeable guides I have ever worked with. We filmed whales,waterfalls and sunsets of the most scenic scapes on earth and all in the name of a whale preservation documentary for Greenpeace.

This is a working cover of a book project that is very close to my heart as I spent quite a bit of time with Kurt and his family three years ago producing this project. The book was shelved as Kurt was traded and his career fell, but the comeback kid brought his Cardinals to the brink of a Super Bowl victory and this long awaited story back to fruition. Thanks Kurt!!!!!!!

MAGIC JOHNSON & LARRY BIRD BOOK DUE OUT NOVEMBER 09

I just want to say what an honor it has been collaborating with renowned sports writer Jackie McMullan, Larry and Magic on this long awaited book. These guys truly saved the NBA in my opinion with there Celtics vs Lakers rivalry and being in their presence was truly humbling for a photographer who has seen them all and shot them all. This is a must buy in November as the usually private Larry and the outspoken Magic share their lives in words and pictures.

BOBBY BOWDEN APPAREL SHOOT FOR NIKE

Coach Bowden was great to work with, he gave me all the time I needed and was a real nice guy. This was the second time I have shot coach Bowden for NIKE and both times he was by far the easiest going coach I have EVER dealt with. That includes Pat Riley, Don Shula, Urban Meyer and many others.
